I am a registered psychologist, and have experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. I am able to provide a range of psychological services, including assessment and interventions for individuals struggling with mental health concerns, relationship and family challenges, difficulties with self-worth and identity, trauma recovery, stress and adjustment issues, and cognitive or academic difficulties.

I value a gentle, compassionate and thoughtful approach to therapy, and endeavour to create a safe therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. I am able to provide a range of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy as well as Psychodynamically informed therapy.

I use an integrative and collaborative approach, where the client’s needs and goals are the primary consideration when developing a treatment plan. Depending upon clients’ needs, I aim to assist individuals in achieving symptom relief, as well as supporting them to develop a deeper understanding of their difficulties. I provide brief or short-term interventions for those preferring to engage for shorter time periods, and am also able to provide longer-term work for individuals who wish to more extensively explore long-standing emotional or relational patterns.

My training was completed at Queensland University of Technology, where I graduated with distinction from a Master of Psychology (Clinical). Prior to this, I obtained a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons I) from the University of Queensland. I am also undergoing further training in order to obtain specialist endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
